Raw Spirit's mission is to create the first global fragrance brand that combines luxury beauty with a social mission – a concept they call "meaningful luxury". The brand was born out of the founders' incredible journeys around the world, from the Australian outback to the mountains of Haiti and the Florida Everglades, where they experienced the unique spirits of some of the world's oldest communities and untamed landscapes.

Committed to sustainability, Raw Spirit works directly with Indigenous and marginalized communities to source rare and unique natural ingredients for their high-quality, luxury fragrances. This not only results in scents that smell incredible, but also creates economic opportunities for the communities they partner with.

Raw Spirit is proudly female-founded, led by CEO and co-founder Joyce Lanigan. Lanigan's extensive world travels, including long stints in Australia and Asia, opened her eyes to the stark injustice and imbalance between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities. This drove her to change career paths and co-found Raw Spirit with renowned photographer Russell James, a Hasselblad Masters Award recipient and Clinton Global Initiative member who collaborates with Aboriginal artists.

Though Lanigan considers herself an "accidental fragrancier", her curiosity, spirit, and passion for ethical luxury laid the foundation for Raw Spirit's collection of sustainably sourced, cruelty-free fragrances. The lineup includes scents like Citadelle, a modern interpretation of classic vetiver; Desert Blush, a warm floral; and Bijou Vert, a timeless unisex fragrance.

Each fragrance is crafted with premium natural ingredients, free of parabens, sulfates, gluten, petrochemicals, and formaldehydes. The collection features rollerball perfumes that can be applied directly to pulse points, allowing the wearer to experience the unique scent profiles. These range from the fresh, citrusy notes of Summer Rain to the decadent, creamy tones of Winter Oak.
