Our mission at Raw Spirit is to create the first global fragrance brand that combines luxury beauty with a social mission – what we call "meaningful luxury." This brand was born out of incredible journeys that took us all over the world, from the Australian outback to the mountains of Haiti and the Florida Everglades. It is a reflection of the unique spirits of some of the world's oldest communities and uninhibited landscapes.

To bring this vision to life, we work directly or through partnerships with Indigenous and marginalized communities to sustainably source rare and unique natural ingredients for our fragrances. From these ingredients, we create high-quality, luxury fragrances that not only smell incredible but also create economic opportunities for the communities from which we source.

Raw Spirit is proud to be led by CEO and Co-Founder Joyce Lanigan. Prior to founding Raw Spirit, Joyce spent years traveling extensively for work and living all over the world, including long stints in Australia and Asia. While in Australia, she witnessed firsthand the incredible injustice and imbalance between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities, which drove her to change career paths and jump into building a socially conscious business with Co-Founder and photographer Russell James.

Although Joyce describes herself as an "accidental fragrancier," her curiosity, spirit, and passion for ethical luxury formed the building blocks of Raw Spirit Fragrances.

Our fragrances are cruelty-free, unisex scents inspired by global adventures and unique expeditions. The ingredients are clean, free of parabens, sulfates, gluten, petrochemicals, and formaldehydes. We are fully committed to responsible sourcing of natural ingredients.

The Raw Spirit Pearl Collection offers a variety of scent profiles to suit different preferences. For those who prefer a refreshing floral fragrance, we suggest our tropical floral scent, Mystic Pearl. This modern interpretation of a classic floral fragrance features a burst of ocean freshness from our signature ingredient – the scent of real South Sea pearls. It dries down to notes of tropical white flowers, ylang-ylang, and frangipani, with a touch of coconut and a hint of warmth from tropical spices like cinnamon and nutmeg.

Midnight Pearl, on the other hand, is a sultry, floral fragrance that also features a burst of ocean freshness from the essence of real South Sea pearls. It blends a tropical bouquet of white flowers, tiare, and frangipani, with notes of warm, sensual spices.

To amplify the fresh, floral scent, we offer a silky, nourishing body butter that pairs perfectly with both Mystic Pearl and Midnight Pearl Eau de Parfums. This luminous body butter leaves your skin looking luminous with a subtle hint of shimmer.
